"My husband Rich Garcia and I worked with Laura Chapman for the 3rd time last year to sell an unusual home in Newport News, and find a new one in Williamsburg. It was a very hectic time for both of us, as I was changing jobs and he was extremely busy with his own work projects. It has been just over a year in our new home, and since things have quieted down I realize I have been remiss in forwarding on to you my thoughts about Laura's service as our agent.
First: She was absolutely 100% available to answer our questions and work through our anxieties about the selling and buying process (weekends, nights- whenever!)
Second: We had a very unique, older home to sell at a time when the market was just starting to become difficult AND with a buyer that became very challenging as well. Laura was a relentless negotiator on our behalf and allowed us to walk away with a great deal while protecting our interests as the sellers.
Third: She took the time to get to know us, and therefore was able to conceptualize what we were looking for quickly and efficiently. Laura was able to again negotiate a fantastic deal and a quick move-in. The result is that we are now in a home and a location that we absolutely love! Fourth: Months later after move-in, she continued to check in on us and see how we were doing. This type of follow-through has been so appreciated and has kept her in our minds for any future referrals.
Due to the nature of our jobs and lifestyle, we move frequently. We will, without hesitation call upon Laura for a 4th time to work with us on our next sale and purchase when the time comes. In the meantime, I hope that you are aware of what an excellent and professional agent you have in your employ, and that William E.
