About Me

Rich has lived in the Hampton Roads area since 1984 after moving from his home in Pittsburgh, PA. He has made Norfolk his home since 1987 and has become a vital part of this community.

Rich’s last position was as a Mechanical Engineering Manager. As a Realtor®, Rich is able to marry his mechanical engineering education and experience with his passion for architecture. The result of this background adds value in helping his clients with their real estate transactions.

Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology (BSMET) and a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Old Dominion University. Rich’s Real Estate accomplishments include Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Hampton Roads Realtors Association (HRRA) Circle of Excellence Award Winner 2004 and 2005, and Norfolk Real Estate Ambassador. Rich has been the recipient of the William E. Wood Spark Plug award. This award is given to the person in the workplace who provides that extra spark by exemplifying the characteristics of enthusiasm, positive mental attitude, loyalty, integrity, willingness to help others, and good humor.

Rich is currently on the board for The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library and he has annually, for the past 10 years, been a host for the “Dinner Is Served” fundraiser for the ACCESS organization, which assists adults and children stricken with HIV/AIDS. Rich’s hobbies include bicycling, tennis, lifting weights and playing bridge.

Rich’s value of education is evident and he strives to continue his education for the ultimate benefit of his clients.
